Pungudutivu Welfare Association UK Celebrates 30 Years with “Kaartuvalik Kiraamam” Cultural Night

The Pungudutivu Welfare Association (UK) proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary with a grand cultural evening titled “Kaartuvalik Kiraamam” (காற்றுவழிக் கிராமம்), bringing together the Pungudutivu diaspora and the wider Sri Lankan Tamil community in the United Kingdom.

The event will be held on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre, Christchurch Avenue, Harrow (HA3 5BD). Doors will open at 5:00 PM, and the evening will feature live music, dinner, and dance, promising a memorable cultural experience for all age groups.

“Kaartuvalik Kiraamam” is designed to recreate the warmth, nostalgia, and spirit of traditional Tamil village life through music, performance, and storytelling. A distinguished lineup of popular Tamil artists and performers will take the stage, offering an entertaining and emotionally resonant programme that celebrates culture, heritage, and community unity.

This milestone event also marks three decades of dedicated service by the Pungudutivu Welfare Association (UK), which has continuously supported welfare initiatives, cultural preservation, and community development among Pungudutivu people living abroad.
